What happens if the captain suddenly can’t captain?
The Suddenly Captain Safety Series is designed to give spouses, family members, guests, and less-experienced boaters the confidence and practical skills needed to respond when something goes wrong on the water.
In an emergency, the person who normally operates the boat may be injured, become ill, fall overboard, or simply be unable to take command. Suddenly, someone else needs to know what to do.
Led by experienced boaters and safety professionals, this hands-on series focuses on real-world situations and practical skills, including:
Taking control of the vessel in an emergency
Safely slowing, stopping, and maneuvering the boat
